Dear Fellow Believer,
Greetings in the Name of our Lord and Savior, JESUS CHRIST! We appreciate your interest in the Great Commission of the Lord.
As a brief introduction for you, we consider International Family Missions to be a "helps" ministry - enabling believers to fulfill a desire to express the love of the Lord to others - specifically by preparing and leading groups of Christians on short-term, cross-cultural mission trips. Generally our outreaches take place in Mexico although we are available to go anywhere in the world.
Our somewhat unique "niche" In the body of Christ is that on most outreaches we include people of different ages, and especially gear things to include family units. It is our belief that anyone with the hope of Christ in his heart can be a fruitful witness in the Lord’s Hand cross-culturally regardless of age or other traditional restrictions.
We organize outreaches in two ways. First, we periodically organize our own outreaches, which we make known to individuals who have requested information on future outreach opportunities. Secondly, we prepare and lead pre-established groups of Christians (churches, youth groups, Christian schools, home school groups, Bible study groups, etc.) on outreaches. Often, these "core groups" will be happy to include other believers who are not part of their original group to complete an outreach team. If you are interested in participating on an outreach, contact us and we will inform you of any upcoming outreaches, including the ones with pre-established groups that have room for more people.
We have made available on our web site our general brochure and an informal report of a church outreach that was comprised of church members of different ages and abilities, so that you can get an idea of what one may be like.
