Financial Policy

Since the inception of International Family Missions it has been our policy to maintain sincere and pure motives toward the work of the Lord, to not allow the preaching of the Gospel to become a means of personal gain, and to avoid making grand appeals to support our ministries. During the first nine years of operation as a missions fellowship we kept silent on the subject of needs, and just made our requests known to God. We were eventually asked by persons interested in our mission to simply make our needs known so they might have an opportunity to consider them and help in specific ways.

After bringing the idea before the Lord and evaluating how it would affect our position, it seemed good to us (and, we trust, the Holy Spirit -Acts 15:22-28) that we could periodically list our needs as we saw them and leave it at that.

International Family Missions is committed to financial stewardship that brings honor to the name and cause of Christ. IFM retains management over all designated and undesignated funds, goods, etc., and donations are deductible for income tax purposes. IFM receives contributions from those who believe in the ministry and desire to assist in its operations. It is also the intent of IFM to be engaged in related activities that function as tools in discipleship training which may help to sustain our overall purposes and ministries, and which can serve and facilitate others in the Body of Christ. Additionally, we seek to be engaged in corporate "tent-making" efforts in order to provide support for our ministries.

IFM is a recognized non-profit, tax-exempt, 501(c)(3) religious and charitable organization.
