Ministry Follow Up
IFM's primary vehicle for ministry is short-term outreaches to Juarez, Mexico.
Although short-term outreaches may seem to provide limited opportunity for
long-term relationships, God has graciously allowed IFM to be involved with
many of the same ministries, orphanages, churches, and neighborhoods in the
Juarez area for over 18 years. Our short-term outreach model enables family
units and individuals to meaningfully step into an ongoing long-term ministry.
This long-term ministry takes many forms such as; on-going one-on-one
discipleship and bible studies, meeting medical and other physical needs, and
return visits from many team members either on another outreach or privately.
A major function of the full-time staff at IFM's House of Cornelius campus and
of our Mexican association staff is to follow up with needs and opportunities
that God brings up during an outreach.
