Volunteers
International Family Missions is offering individuals the opportunity to assist in the development of the Kingdom of God through local participation with its ministry.
IFM at its three ministry centers are looking for individuals, small groups and / or churches that would be willing to help on a volunteer basis to strengthen the ministry and so help in strengthening families in reaching out with the Gospel of the Kingdom.
IFM has office, maintenance and various other volunteer opportunities at each of its three ministry centers. So if you live near Ciudad Juarez / El Paso or Fabens areas or in the North Denver / Lafayette / Boulder Valley area please get in contact with the IFM office to find out more.
All volunteers will be given on the job training as well as given the chance to get cross cultural mission training and be given the opportunity to take part in an outreach to Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. The following are a sample of the volunteer opportunities available.
- General Admin office duties; accounting; data processing; marketing; publicity; prayer coordinating, etc. - Often we can get deceived into thinking that only a certain type of person is required to share the good news and love of Jesus Christ when actually just like Paul says in the letter to the Ephesians we are all part of one body and each person is important for the body to function properly. To keep any ministry functioning and for the Holy Spirit to undertake His work one of the things we require is to have a well structured and well managed administration. Therefore, to assist this function IFM has various volunteer opportunities at its ministry centers for those who would like to use their admin skill to further the Kingdom of God.
- Building renovation and repair, landscaping, construction, painting, window installation, electrical work, etc.It is also often thought that you need to have great evangelistic skills to be in missions, although this is an ingredient of any team, it's not the only gift required. Another gift needed is the gift of helps; those who have a practical inclination or are willing to come alongside others to develop the Kingdom of God. IFM has various opportunities in Colorado and Texas for people to help with our facilities.
